Bettong: Habitat
Habitat and Geographic Range
The woylie is now found only in southwestern Western Australia but formerly
ranged from Shark Bay to N S W and northwestern Victoria. They live
in the shrubby understory of dry eucalypt forest and woodland.
Food and Foraging
Animals feed at night on insects, seeds, plant tubers, roots and bulbs
and on underground fungi which they scratch out of the ground.
